How to Write Great Blogs That Will Bring You Eager to Spend Traffic

The internet has produced an explosion of communications between people from all parts of the world. One method that has grown in popularity is Blogs. Lots of people keep a blog, and even more people read them. What I want is a share of these readers because I know that if I give them great content on my blog they will keep coming back for more. Once a reader becomes a loyal reader, then it is a whole lot easier to sell to them. First of all, you must realise that blogging is all about writing. There is no need to write another War and Peace, or some masterpiece that will make Shakespeare green with envy. Just a short, simple piece that people will enjoy reading will be enough to put on your blog. I find it easy to write a couple of paragraphs about my subject every other day or so. This is enough to keep your blog fresh in the eyes of the search engines and can help maintain that vital first page ranking. You can write about anything you like, your hobbies, your favourite holiday destination, your likes and dislikes. The subject is not too important as there will always be people who share the same interests as you. What you have to remember is that you should choose something that can lead to a sale. When writing, try to write in the same way as you would tell a friend about your subject. If you do this, it will come across as natural and friendly. This is what people look for in a blog, they like to feel that you are a real person and that the conversation is with them. To get people to visit your blog, you will need to advertise it on the internet. This is a lot easier to do than it seems. First of all, visit a few forums that are related to your subject and spend some time reading the posts. You are looking for a post that allows you to make a comment, but don’t try to push your blog at first. Once you have made a few posts, then you can write comments that end in something like “I’ve written more about this on my blog at”. This invites the reader of the comment to go and visit your blog.
Another great way is to write short articles about your subject and submit them for free to article sites like Ezine Articles and Qassia. You will be amazed at how quickly your articles will be picked up by other people and used on their blogs. Of course, you will have created a link to your blog in your author bio and this will still be seen on the other blog. Readers of that blog will then visit yours, even if it’s out of curiosity first time around. Another great advantage is that you can place the article onto your blog as well, so the content of the article becomes your blog and saves you from writing twice. Once you have built up a loyal following, you can start to sell to them. Try placing ads from Google, Amazon or even EBay on your blog. First of all, set up an affiliate membership with them and then whenever a reader clicks through and buys something, you get a commission. Later on, you can visit Click Bank and sign up to an affiliate program for an E Book which you can promote on your blog. These can pay some quite big commissions and bring you some extra cash. Just remember to keep giving your readers plenty of interesting copy on your blog, and always be honest with them as this will establish a bond of trust between you and your readers which will pay you handsomely. People will buy on your recommendations because they trust you and value your opinions.
